At Speede, your privacy matters. We are committed to transparency and responsible data usage. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. By using Speede, you agree to the practices described below.

1. About Speede

Speede is an AI-powered expert discovery and productivity platform that helps users find professionals, schedule meetings, and manage documents and collaboration workflows.

Speede enables users to:

  • Discover and connect with experts
  • Send structured email invitations
  • Schedule meetings via Google Calendar
  • Create and manage Google Meet sessions
  • Create, save, update, and open Sargam .imnb notebook files stored in Google Drive

To provide these features, Speede integrates with Google Calendar, Google Meet, and Google Drive APIs, strictly with explicit user consent.

2. Data We Collect and Why

Speede collects only the minimum data required to deliver its core functionality.

2.1 Account Information

  • Collected Data: Name and email address
  • Purpose:
    • User authentication
    • Account identification
    • Communication related to the service

2.2 Google API Data (With Explicit User Consent)

Speede accesses Google services only after the user authorizes access.

Google Calendar API Access

Scopes may include (as applicable):

  • Calendar and calendar list access
  • Event creation, modification, and deletion
  • Availability (free/busy) checks
  • Calendar settings (read-only)

Purpose:

  • Schedule meetings automatically
  • Avoid scheduling conflicts
  • Create and manage calendar events on behalf of the user
  • Send meeting invitations and reminders

Speede does not modify or delete personal calendar events unrelated to the app.

Google Meet API Access

Scopes may include:

  • Creating Google Meet conferences
  • Reading meeting details created by the app

Purpose:

  • Generate meeting links
  • Manage meeting metadata for scheduled sessions

Speede does not monitor or record meetings.

Google Drive API Access

Scopes may include:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file for sargam.speede.site to create, save, and update .imnb Sargam notebook files in the user’s Google Drive
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonly for sargam.speede.site to open .imnb notebook files shared with the user through Google Drive links

Purpose:

  • Allow users to create and store Sargam notebooks in their own Google Drive
  • Enable editing and saving of user notebook content
  • Let users open shared .imnb notebook files from Google Drive links
  • Provide Drive-based portability and user ownership

Speede uses drive.readonly only to retrieve the content and metadata of the specific .imnb notebook file the user chooses to open, including files shared with the user. Shared notebook files are not necessarily created by the recipient through this OAuth client, so the narrower drive.file scope is insufficient for opening arbitrary shared .imnb files by file ID from a shared link.

Important clarifications:

  • Speede does NOT scan or analyze unrelated Drive files
  • Speede does NOT index, sync, back up, download in bulk, or profile the user’s broader Drive
  • Speede does NOT access files without user action
  • Speede does NOT sell, share, or use Drive data for advertising
  • All Drive files remain fully owned and controlled by the user

2.3 User Information via Google Identity

Scopes may include:

  • openid
  • userinfo.email
  • userinfo.profile

Purpose:

  • Secure authentication
  • Associate actions with the correct user account

2.4 Usage Data

  • Collected Data: Feature usage patterns (non-content based)
  • Purpose:
    • Improve product performance
    • Fix bugs and enhance user experience

Usage analytics are aggregated and not used to identify individual users.

3. How We Use Data

User data is used only to operate and improve Speede.

Permitted Uses

  • Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Creating, saving, updating, and opening Google Drive notebook files requested by the user
  • Sending invitations and reminders
  • Improving reliability and user experience

Prohibited Uses

  • Selling personal data
  • Sharing data with advertisers
  • Reading email inboxes
  • Accessing Drive files unrelated to the app
  • Modifying personal calendar events outside user intent

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Storage: Data is securely stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL)
  • Encryption: Data is encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Access Control: Strict internal access policies are enforced
  • Audits: Regular security reviews are conducted

Speede does not store Google account passwords or credentials.

5. User Rights and Control

Users have full control over their data.

You may:

  • Access your stored data
  • Download your data
  • Delete your data permanently
  • Revoke Google permissions at any time

Google permissions can be revoked via Google Account Settings, which immediately stops Speede’s access.

6. Third-Party Services

Speede integrates with:

  • Google Calendar
  • Google Meet
  • Google Drive

By using Speede, you also agree to Google’s:

  • Privacy Policy
  • Terms of Service

Speede accesses Google data only within the permissions explicitly granted by the user.

7. Children’s Privacy

Speede is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.

8. Policy Updates

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or on the website. Continued use of Speede after updates implies acceptance of the revised policy.
